1996 ARRL November Sweepstakes, Phone, W5EHM M/S

W5EHM participated in the ARRL November Sweepstakes, Phone, conducted during the weekend of 16-17 November 1996. We operated in the Multioperator Single Transmitter (M) class, with AA5BT, KG5KI, N1PVB, and KA5WSS operating.

W5EHM was a serious competitor once again during both the CW and Phone portions of Sweepstakes and the Collegiate Championship that takes place at the same time. The unofficial results of the Collegiate Championship show W5EHM to have placed 3rd in the phone, 4th in the CW, and 3rd in the Combined categories. UTARC was tops in the Big 12 conference, sweeping all three categories. This is the best showing yet for UTARC, and comes during the most competitive Collegiate Championship to date.

This was a "clean sweep," as there were only 78 section multipliers in the contest in 1996.
