First ever serious effort on 10 meters in any contest I've worked. Before this contest, I had fewer than twenty countries confirmed on the band, and fewer than five states. Thanks to the many unwitting Ws that called in, I've dramatically improved my state count on that band, in addition to seriously improving my country count. Openings to Europe were extremely disappointing, and the openings to Japan were not nearly as strong as I thought they might be - I was able to get a hint of rate to JA late in the contest. The zones I missed were northeast Africa and almost all of Asia.
