- There are five ``Lagrangian'' points defined by the orbits of the
earth and the sun. They represent locations where a body can revolve
without being disturbed by the earth's rotation.
- Two of these points are 800,000 miles away.
- ionized gases might collect at these points and offer themselves
as passive reflectors.
