Next: Who Has Heard LDEs?
Up: Long Delayed Echoes
Previous: What is a Long
- They are audible on both your own signal or on signals of other
stations.
- Happen most frequently when the band is opening.
- Your best chance to hear one is when long distance propagation is
good, especially when long-path and short-path openings exist to a common
location, or when propagation is open to the antipode.
- LDEs appear to be a single echo, rather than multiple echoes.
